Greetings Probes, this is Koala (Space Turtel).

I apologize for being away for so long. I have been given a kind of promotion at my place of work. Actually, the compensation has not changed but I now have double the work-load. My supervisors call this a reward for good work. I suppose it is in its own way but I find it difficult to see how giving me more to do without increasing the benefit I derive from performing the work is a reward. As some would say, "Humans! Go figure?"

Anyway, the new responsibilities have kept me very busy. I have been reviewing your reports and the messages sent to you, but I have not been able to participate as much as I would like or have in the past. As I introduce my new customers to my routine, the strain will ease and I will again have more time to talk to you. Until then, I have asked the other MARSupials to talk to you often and pass along messages for me.

I expect to be back with you soon, but I wanted you to know what was happening so you would not think I had left or forgotten you. You are all very important to me and the other MARSupials. Please do not ever forget that, even when we are not able to talk as much as we would like.

Good luck. Your friend, Koala.
