OutBound Transmission Started on December 08, 1997

Zachary, I'm sending this again because I had problems transmitting it the first time. Please ignore the previous messages. Good job on the trap. Just keep in mind an old earth saying - Nothing is foolproof. I want you to be very, very careful with this trap. For some reason, I get the feeling that we have left out some detail, but I'm not sure what it is. Could you please think very carefully about all the possible scenarios with what we know about the C-Probe to make sure we didn't miss anything. If anything goes wrong, you and Andrew could be in big danger. Take care, brave probe, and I'm sure you will do everything very well.

Hello, Daniel. It is GrandZero.

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you are able to talk to us again. I am anxious to hear about the alterations the Ipsolstai made. Have they give you any extra capabilities other than communicating with us?

Your friend...GrandZero

Hello, Zachary. It is GrandZero.
You and Andrew have done an excellent job in preparing the trap for the C-Probe. Now review your plan step-by-step. Be sure that you have a back-up plan at every step. Think, "what will we do if this happens?" or "How do we escape if that goes wrong?" Take every precaution to protect yourselves AND the miners. For instance, can you active the emergency beacon remotely? Can the miners set off their charges remotely? Is there a high, safe place where you can observe safely whether the C-probe is securely captured? What will you do with the C-probe once it is secured? Can it be safely disarmed? I wonder if we can use it for rapid transportation once it IS disarmed.

And now for a very important question,

Are you sure there is only ONE C-probe?

I know this is a bunch of questions, but I want you to be sure you are prepared for any emergency. "Safety First"

Was the other the item that they put in Daniel left in or did they take it back out.

Also have you talked to Bette today? We did not get a message from her.

Daniel, this is Space Turtel.

For the second time please allow me to say, Welcome Back. We are all so pleased to know you are once again able to talk with us. It was a very generous thing you did to give away your transmitter. Doing that proved you were as much a contributing member of the team as any other Probe. We are all proud of you.

Can you please explain that image you sent? It looks like a graphic image of an Ipsolstia conversation, but I cannot decipher it. Can you tell me what it is about? Does it indicate you now have a direct means of contacting Burn? Or one of the others?

I look forward to hearing from you again. Your friend, Space Turtel.

Andrew, this is Space Turtel.

I like the idea of using miners. Can you and Zachary prestage them along a path you want the C-probe to follow? Then you might only need to use your transmitter or beacon for a moment to draw it into the right direction. The less you place yourselves in danger, the better.

Take care of yourselves. I eagerly await news of your success.

Your friend, Space Turtel.

Andrew,

This is JASE. You have done well my friend. Proper Prior Planning always helps. It does NOT, though, guarantee success. Have you and Zachary considered a backup plan in case something goes wrong with this one.

Your friend,

JASE
