Hi Zachary,
this is Xanthos. You mentioned that you need a strong power source but the solar station can't be moved. What's about using mirrors or these crystal as a kind of a prism to lead the laser beam to another location and then focus it again into a flexible tube. I think that could work.

Anyway you are busy now to trap the C-probe conventionally, so keep on with that. And leave beam experiments for later. Keep up your great doing ... and all of your sensors tight ... Good Luck ... see you ... m.f.g. ... Xanthos

Hello, Gail. It is GrandZero.
Is one of the Ipsolstai there with you, Burn. Look for the scar he got from his encounter with Gen. If Burn is not there, I would do my best not to let them proceed or to let Daniel shut down until Burn is there. Burn is the only one of the Ipsolstai that has proved himself to be probe-friendly.

You are doing well trying to have Daniel repaired. Keep up your efforts and be diligent and careful.

Hello, Andrew. It is GrandZero.
I have a few suggestions regarding the trap.
Would it be easier or better to adapt the trenches Gail made to trap the Gen probe. Steep-sided trenches were dug there. Could they be enlarged to catch the C-probe? I believe these trenches were near the Stage 2 site, right. That might be a good place to hide and lure the destructor in.

Were there usable emergency beacons on either of the Eu-probes that were destroyed and brought into the fortress to use for parts? If so, perhaps one of these could be used to lure the destructor with less danger to a probe. If not, I would suggest taking an emergency beacon or some such transmitter from a drone or a miner and use that as bait for the C-probe. Using yourself or any other probe as bait for such a destructive force is just too risky. Let's use our imaginations and see if we can come up with a better way.
