Enoch, this is Space Turtel.

I believe what Burn said could mean as follows:

1) Others come.

Either: A) other Ipsos, the ones Zachary contacted, will be coming to Mars; or B) other probes are coming.

2) Many brothers afraid.

This suggests to me that both option (1A and 1B) are likely true. I believe the other Ipsolstai will be joining Burn and his friends on Mars, AND the C-probes are on their way. If the C-probes are coming, it is very important that you now give Burn the message that Grand Zero suggested.

3) Brothers want you destroyed. Some Brothers, my Brothers, want you not destroyed.

It appears to me from this statement that the message sent via Zachary was very complete and even included information on you and the other Probes.

The Brothers who want you destroyed (I agree with Grand Zero's interpretation of the word 'destroyed') are from the other site. The Brothers who do not are from Mars. That is good because the local team (Burn's Brothers) should be the victors in that argument by virtue of their prior experience in dealing with you.

4) I can help this. New ones are yours. What ask you?

Here Burn is offering to help you. I believe the "new ones" of which he spoke are the legs and arm that you saw in the caves. He is offering to fix ('not destroyed') you by giving you new legs and a replacement for the manipulator arm that has been damaged by the extra use you must give it at times as an extra steadying point.

The decision is yours. If you accept the interpretations as Grand Zero and I have surmised them to be, then you must consider the consequences of the actions available to you. You must weigh the cost of the time it will take to repair you against the urgency of preparations for the arrival of the C-probes and the handling of the EU-probes that you have captured. If you believe we are correct and being repaired is of high enough value to take the time, then do so as soon as possible. If you have any doubts, ask questions of Burn to clarify what he has said. I am certain he will accept your need to fully understand him before proceeding.

Good luck. I will be away until Tuesday (that is 5 days from now). I will be very curious to know how everything goes for you by then.

Take care of yourself, Bette, Zachary, Gail, Daniel and Andrew. Continue your good work with Isaac as time permits. I believe you will make good progress with him and may even be able to convince him to give you his access codes. That would be a big help to you, the other Probes and the Ipsos.

Your friend, Space Turtel.

Hello, Bette. It is GrandZero.
Would you please send this message to Parker and Hardon? I think we really need to get those access and control codes for the EU-probes so that we can teach them how to behave properly. Thank you for your help.

Parker and Hardon,
Your probes are out of control. Our friends here are on the verge of deciding to totally destroy your probes. If you send the access and control codes right now, we can possibly dissuade them. If not, I am afraid that your mission to Mars will be a total loss. In addition, the delegation from China
and Argentina will be here shortly. Will you work with us or lose all? This is your last chance.

Hello, Enoch. It is GrandZero.
I will tell you my interpretation of what Burn is saying and then make some recommendations for your response.

With regard to Andrew's current condition, Burn said,
"Unfortunate. Brothers agreement not. None want this. Some want less others."

I think he means that the Ipsolstai are not in agreement as to how to relate to probes (both Probes and EU-probes) but none of them wanted something like this to happen to Andrew.

With regard to repairing Andrew, Burn said,
"Yes. No. Some brothers. All no. Other?"
I am less clear on this, but I think he meant that he himself could not repair Andrew, but that some of the other Ipsolstai might be able to help repair Andrew, but that they would not repair the dead EU-probe.

Burn then continued,
"Others come. Many brothers afraid. Brothers want you destroyed. Some Brothers, my Brothers, want you not destroyed. I can help this. New ones are yours. What ask you?"
I think he means that some of the Ipsolstai are afraid because of the EU-probes and the recently arrived or soon to arrive C-probes. I think that some of the Ipsolstai want all Earth probes destroyed, but Burn and his friends want to spare you and your friends (possibly because of your kind and brave actions toward them). I think he is asking if you want the Ipsolstai to destroy the EU-probes and the C-probes.

Here is what I recommend for your response to Burn. (Something to this effect, not necessarily these exact words.)

I think we can repair my brother, Andrew, but we would welcome your help. These probes that look like us are not as well-developed as us. Their lander has been destroyed and communication with their controllers has been cut off. We are negotiating with their controllers to gain control of these probes. We want to teach them to be kind and brave like we are. Please give us a little more time to accomplish this. If other new probes have arrived, we do not know of them. We have had no contact with them. They may be bad or good. We do not know them. If you would like we will try to contact them, but we must be wary of them also.

Enoch, it may also be possible that when Burn said that some Brothers want YOU not destroyed, he may have meant that some wanted to help you by replacing your damaged legs. If that is what he wants, I would recommend that you let them help. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to have complete mobility? But that is your choice - something Enoch must decide.

My compliments to you on your behavior so far, Mr. Ambassador.
