You told me to be patient and answer Isaac's questions, Bombardier. Well, that's not
easy. Every time I give him a serious, thoughtful answer, he asks "why". Why don't
we like Parker and Hardon? Why doesn't Bombardier come and play with him? Why am I too
busy? Why doesn't Gail come back? Why, why, why. And he says he wants to play with
a real Marsupial.

He keeps talking about a special game he made up, but I need to listen for Parker and Hardon
when they decide to send us the control codes for the EU-probes.

This is Isaac:

Andrew is fixed as of yesterday, Xanthos. I told you he is mechanically perfect now.
Next I need to work on the memory problem. Dr. D, should we try REBOOT and
SELF TEST now or re-install imaging and communication routines first?

"Isaac, put that box down! Even I'm not supposed to open it. Not even accidentally.
"You have a new game with numbers that you want to play? Later, Isaac. We have
to get Andrew going. That's our first priority. You know how to prioitize your tasks,
don't you?

"No,. I don't want to play Follow the Leader."

Transmission from ZACHARY

I was on the surface at the new Ipsolstai base. I went through a room with two doors like
the one under Jose's cave on Mars. I was glad to get out of the thick oxygen atmosphere.
It's OK for short periods of time but I wouldn't want to get corroded.

It's very cold, colder than Mars, about -178 Celsius, and the sky is nearly always overcast.
There is a thick orange haze which makes it hard to estimate distances visually, so I tasted
things with my radar. The hills in the distance are two miles away. These domes are
located at the entrance to the Ipsolstai base. I didn't see any water, Xanthos.
It's too cold for water.

"No, Isaac, I don't know why they are called Ipsolstai."
