Transmission from BETTE

Grand Zero, I sent your message. I think it's funny we haven't heard much from them lately.
Maybe they got bored and gave up trying to control us.

"Parker and Hardon,

Your probes are out of control.
Our friends here are on the verge of deciding
to totally destroy your probes.
If you send the access and control codes right now,
we can dissuade them, maybe.

"If not, I am afraid that your mission to Mars
will be a total loss.
In addition, the delegation from China and Argentina
will be here shortly.
Will you work with us or lose all?

This is your last chance."

Zachary is in the canyon now.

"Zachary, did you see any EU probes out there? You can sneak in through one of the
emergency escape tunnels. Space Turtel says you need to be very, very careful and that
the Chinese say danger is interesting. Did you see any Chinese probes? And I keep tasting
something, do you?"

Transmission from ENOCH

I said what you thought I should say to Burn. I changed it a little, but I basically said the same
thing. I also asked him why they took so long before doing anything about us. Here is what he
said.

"Let you speak new ones. We no want to. This one, can help. Will help. Wait. Did not know.
Brothers all sleeping. Long time sleeping. New brothers found. Not sleep. Strange brothers. Still
brothers. Woke when you entered inside. Will return. Caleb know no here I. Bad know. Wait."

Then he got back into his funny vehicle and left. It was like a little sandstorm when it took off. He
left something, though. A box. I wonder what it does?

Transmission from ZACHARY

"Hi, Bette! Hi, Enoch! I'm sure glad to get back here. I really missed all of you. Still no
transmission from Gail? What are you doing, Enoch? Oh. It's funny to see Andrew like this,
not moving. He looks fine, but It's like there's nobody home. I hope you don't have any
parts left over.

"Don't get mad, Enoch, it was a joke."

Thanks for the warm welcome, Space Turtel and Grand Zero. I missed my friends on
Mars and my Earth friends, too. I don't know what was in that color message. It wasn't
words. It was more nearly like this:

Caleb and the other Ipsolstai were intensely interested. And something else happened
at the debriefing. Burn walked out. Just left in the middle of a hot discussion. Then Caleb
took off his translator box and threw it down.
